International Workshop on
Technologies and Applications for Cyber-Physical Systems (TACPS 2012)
Gwangju, Korea, September 6-8, 2012
In Conjunction with EMC 2012
TACPS 2012 will be the most comprehensive workshop focused on advances in technologies and applications for cyber-physical system. Cyber-Physical System (CPS) is not a new field, but a new type of system which is reflected physical characteristics to embedded systems and emphasized importance of controlling between systems are connected each other through networks. Components of CPS, e.g. controllers, sensors, actuators, and etc. should transmit the information to cyber space through sensing the environment of real world in real-time, and also they should reflect policy of cyber space to real world in real-time. Therefore, many components of CPS should be available to communicate each other. In addition, CPS consists of controllers, sensors, and actuators could reflect the information of cyber space to real world through monitoring a variety of information and controlling actuator in real-time. So, high reliability technology and application are needed for accurate real-time control in CPS, and data encryption is needed for confidentiality and integrity of data which is transmitted over the network. TACPS 2012 will provide an opportunity for academic and industry professionals to discuss the latest issues and progress in the area of CPS. In addition, the workshop will publish high quality papers which are closely related to the various theories and practical applications in CPS. Furthermore, we expect that the workshop and its publications will be a trigger for further related research and technology improvements in this important subject.
Papers presented in the TACPS 2012 will be published by Springer Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (indexed by Scopus), ISSN: 1876-1100, which will be indexed by SCOPUS & EI Compendex.
